Production management systems

We ensure that the coordination of your production is optimized and that your entire plant is used most efficiently.

Data capture such as

  • Entering ordering information,
  • Configurable terminal dialogues to capture all relevant data related to orders,
  • Log-in and log-off of system operator
is crucial to optimize and control production schedules. Data are entered with a barcode scanner and/or machine terminals and can, among other things, be processed with a link to the order, machine or the respective cost area.

By entering data related to machines such as

  • Capture of number of items,
  • Capture of running times and downtimes of productions facilities,
  • Capture of causes for downtimes or interruptions,
  • Use of an integrated maintenance calendar with maintenance information,
various overviews and evaluations can be produced (availability, performance and quality).
Automatic access to machine data, for example, is possible by way of a fully configurable Siemens OPC server.

The capture of machine data is also possible via Ethernet (TCP/IP), I/O module or serial interface. Thus, we are in a position to gather all relevant data from the automation system on the PC in order to process these with standard Windows applications such MS Office, MS Excel or SQL data bases.

The option of monitoring production data online (status monitor) coupled with the automatic transfer of information via text message or e-mail gives you a head start: Thus at the end of the day it is possible, for example, to send a PDF file with the number of pieces produced and various production-related information (codes) to the person in charge of production.

We ensure comprehensive monitoring of the process with traceability.

Capture of machine data

Special codes for using complete systems such as overall plant efficiency and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) comprising the three factors: availability, performance and quality, have become established variables in the car industry and can thus easily be calculated.

The capture of process data by:

  • Entering and storing process values (pressure, temperature, welding current etc.),
  • Monitoring of tolerance limits,
  • Allocation of various inspection characteristics to plant/machine, tool, work piece,
  • Logging of process values
ensures traceability, as quality standards such as ISO 9001 may require data related to the production process. Our methods of entering process data will enable you to monitor and document your production processes. If, due to faulty process values, problems arise, you can counteract immediately, thus stopping rejects at a very early stage.
